Welcome to Biology 2101 Online Lab
Anatomy and Physiology (Biol 2401) is a course that is a prerequisite for jobs in the Health Professions and is a core science course.
We offer an online version of this course with an online lab (Biol2101). The lab offers you an opportunity to do hands on activities and dissections that help illustrate the principles of the course.
To do the lab, you must have a lab manual (available from the Online Campus Bookstore) and a Lab Kit (Which includes materials for experiments and dissections).
To get the lab kit, make arrangements with a Biology instructor to come to one of the three Hill College Campuses at Burleson, Hillsboro, or Cleburne. It is best to arrange a time with me (rhunter @hillcollege.edu) to pick up a kit if you can come to Cleburne. Students who live more than two hours drive away from all of our locations, can arrange to get their kit mailed to them, but you must still order your lab manual from the bookstore. More information about lab kits can be found in your course area on Brightspace. Please pick up a lab kit as soon as possible in order to start you course on time.
Our syllabus can be found in Brightspace as well. Enter the course and click the words Simple Syllabus on the Blue Menu bar across the top.
I am so glad to have you in the course.
