• Provide a copy of your latest TAKS scores. • You can complete an associate degree at Hill College before transferring to a university.
• Generally, for every 30 hours of transferable college hours attained while in high school, the time and expense of a university is reduced by one year.
• Public university tuition and fees average per academic year $5836 (does not include housing, books or travel:)  Community College – 2 years average $8000 total – includes books and travel, assuming the student does not live on campus.

Dual Admission vs. Dual Credit/Concurrent Enrollment

"Dual Admission" means applying to one of Hill College’s university partners while a student at Hill College.  Dual Admission status allows a student to be both a Hill College student and a university student.  A student must have completed 12 semester hours at Hill College to be eligible for Dual Admission with one of Hill College’s University Partners below:

"Dual Credit/Concurrent Enrollment" is simply taking college classes while still in high school, either at your high school, online, or at a college campus.  Please note that you can have “Dual Credit” and “Dual Admission” status simultaneously, provided you have completed the 12 semester hours at Hill College. You must remain in good standing, and meet the transfer requirements at the time of transfer to one of our university partners.
